Day 1070: The saving grace...

This evening, I spent time in a fantasy world, role playing, as one of my many characters. I had a fantastic time, though my character was relatively restrained.

I started the session with really low HP, and the situation never really got better, so I played it safe, engaged in combat only when absolutely necessary, and still managed to have a higher body count that some members of the team.

We made our way into a foundry, and took on an efreeti, among other creatures, including a fire elemental. The efreeti managed to escape, much to our dismay, as that marks 2 out of the last 3 combat encounters where one of the enemies has managed to escape. But, this time it was different. The previous combat, we knew that the escaping party was going to go and find assistance, find a group, and then come back to assault us.

This time however, we know that this enemy won't take these transgressions lightly, and that we will likely need to recoup, and recover, before really making a solid assault.

D&D has been a lot of fun, and I really enjoy playing. I can't wait to keep playing, but with the holidays coming up, there's going to be some breaks in playing, but that's fine.

Have an excellent day! You're all my favourites!

Peace -x-
