I've never seen Star Wars.
Wait. No. That's not right.
That's not even slightly correct.
I saw the first 3, episodes 4, 5 and 6, when I was about 6-7. I saw all the prequels when they were released in cinema. And then I've been trying to keep up to date with the films that are coming out now. Every time I see something, I keep thinking, 'oh, I need to watch the clone wars TV series.' But that's about the extent of all the extra stuff I feel like I need to catch up on.
So much so that I've just got in from seeing Rogue One, and now I'm like 'I WANT MORE STAR WARS!'.
I thought the film was very enjoyable, it definitely pulled at the feelings at the end, there's sort of something in there that doesn't make sense to me, maybe the amount of time that is covered is different but the film still manages to have a lot of impact.
I had a good time, I liked all the ties in to the other films, though there are things that are a bit obvious at times. I know it's been released to fantastic reviews, I thought it was great, the acting was excellent, but I felt like there were parts that didn't flow too smoothly, and that at points it was a little diluted. I felt like it was a little too long, but that's just me, picking at how I felt about the film.
If you like Star Wars I highly recommend it. If you don't, eh, this film is never going to appeal to you.
Have an excellent day! You're all my favourites!
