Today I had 35 Froaes in Pokemon, of which many are being traded away in trade chains that are making me amused. I started one with a Froakie, trading it for a Feebas, which I then traded for a Sandshrew, which then i traded for a Ratatta, and then traded for a Pelliper, then a Zigzagoon, then a Geodude, the a Charmander. I then recieved a Magikarp, and traded it as fast as possible to get a Zubat. Then I got a Pansear, which I exchanged for a Meowth, which soon became an Azurill, and then I got a Torkoal, which is a pokemon I have not had before.
So what have I learned? I like wonder trading, I like the randomness, but it is not an efficient way to build a pokedex. I kept trading until I got a pokemon I hadn't had before. This is one of the longest chains of trades I've done, and I just happened to be writing it down. I don't find it frustrating, because you could always just get magikarp after magikarp, but it always feels better when there is a lot of diversity in the pokemon passing through.
I also re-watched episodes 1-4 of this season of RWBY to try and understand what's going on. I swear I pay attention, but i don't really have a clue at times what is happening. But re-watching didn't really help me that much.
I tried writing some more of my assignment today, but it was not to be, I was too distractible, and my motivation was low. Tomorrow and Tuesday I have some specific work I need to do with a co-worker, and then Wednesday is going to be a day I am alone in the lab, which is good, but I don't know how much progress I can make.
I have Friday off this week, and I hope it goes by quickly, but really, I've got a lot to do, and not much time to do it. This week I'd like to plan my journals a bit more, but I don't know whether I will. I know I want to write an adventurers log, but I'm not making progress in a game that I want to. I also will write about TKD, so that's at least something.
Anyway, have an excellent day! You're all my favourites!
