I've been playing a bunch of pokemon, I've been thinking about how I'm best going to be able to achieve the stated goal 'Gotta catch 'em all!'
So, what will I need? Well, either I need to get all the games, or I need to be proactive and try and hunt down people with spare pokemon, and get lucky on wonder trades.
I like the sound of the challenge. With Gen 4, diamond and pearl, heart gold and soul silver, gen 5, black and white, black 2 and white 2, gen 6, X and Y, and Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, all playable, and with a relatively easy way to transfer all the pokemon forwards, as well as the fact that the generation one games, red, blue and yellow, having pokemon bank support being added, it certainly seems like it'll be a good time to try and build that pokedex. The only real issue is the hunting of the mythical pokemon.
I like the idea of hunting down all the legendaries on my own (well, with the assistance of rachyrock) and then getting all the pokemon I can without needing events.
It's an idea that's been appealing to me more and more, and definitely one I am certainly considering. Pokemon is fun, and with Sun and Moon coming out tomorrow/next week, it adds a layer to it that it's something that is quite achievable. I'm nearly at the point playing Omega Ruby where I kind of want to start again after dumping a bunch of pokemon into the pokemon bank, so that I can get duplicates of legendaries so I can trade for others.
Also, I have 35 torchics. YAY!
Have an excellent day! You're all my favourites!
