Day 1024: Destiny Impressions - The Grind

Today I've played a bunch of Destiny. The grind I thought was going to be super real.

So the Heroic Raid was released on Tuesday, and with it came the increase in light level. Because of the increase the activities in game then gave higher light level rewards, across the board.

I've spent a bit of time last night, and today grinding away, I went from 370 light to 383-384 light, dependent on what equipment I was using. So, given the changes that were made, 385 is really the cap I was working towards. I set out on that goal for this week, thinking that as in the past, I'd probably be able to hit it, in a few weeks, not just a few days.

Then I decided to sign up to take part in the Normal Mode Raid, Wrath of the Machine. I'd not run it yet, but I was keen. So I found a group, and it was good. We ran through, and I got a bunch of loot, and it took me to the soft cap of 385.

The grind in the past I thought was difficult, it was challenging, and it took a long time. But this time round, it felt easier, but I'm not sure if that's because I knew what I was doing, or because I got seriously lucky. Now the slow grind to the actual max begins, so it's now to get as I thought it would be.

Anyway, it's been a good time just playing up to the current 385 cap, and it's been alright.

So I'm tired and fatigued, and this journal has been a bit difficult to write.

Have an excellent day! You're all my favourites!

Peace -x-
